Chapter Five

She had to practically run to keep up with him as he wove his way through a maze of corridors before stopping in front of a metal hatchway.

“Take your clothes off before you enter.” Ryker proceeded to remove his own clothes, folding them and laying them neatly on the shelf to the right of the portal.

“Enter what? What is this?” She leaned on the wall for support, her breath coming in short pants. The damn Cyborg was back to handing out orders and expecting instant obedience.

He paused to look at her, and she could see the desire burning behind those ice-blue eyes. “This is a zero-g chamber. No gravity. The lack of gravity makes sexual encounters… different. Challenging.” A ghost of a smile crossed his face. “There will be no top or bottom.”

“Oh.” What else could she say? The thought of making love while floating weightlessly was intriguing. Oh hell, the thought of making love to Ryker again under any circumstances was enough to send her libido into overdrive.

She reached for the fastening at the front of her flight suit. It didn’t take long before her clothing was folded neatly on the shelf beside his, and she stood shivering on the metal decking.

“Beautiful.” Ryker wrapped an arm around her to pull her in close, taking her lips in a kiss that scorched her to the very core of her being. “I have to admit this will also be my first time in zero-g. The females on Terras Five are not quite as adventurous as you humans.” Turning, he grabbed the handle and opened the hatch.

A small holding area prefaced the chamber, allowing them to seal the outer door. Once the outer door was sealed, Ryker opened the inner hatch.

Still holding her hand he used his legs to push off from the side of the chamber and launch them into the middle of the free-fall zone.

Keily let go of Ryker and spread her arms wide. She’d never experienced weightlessness like this before. Naked. Gliding like a bird. Wow. Just wow. She couldn’t begin to describe how wonderful, how free she felt.

Ryker floated loosely in the center of the chamber, watching her with an amused look on his face. “Like it?”

“I love it! Why have I never tried this before?” She kicked her legs, twirling in delight.

“Not a lot of these chambers around. I had it installed so I could practice fighting in zero gravity.”

Keily laughed. “That is so lame. I can think of so many better things to do in here than fight.” She bent backward, doing a graceful loop.

Ryker drifted to the side of the chamber. Using one powerful thrust of his arm, he floated to her side and grasped her hand. He tugged gently, and they both moved, floating gently together. “Just the sight of you drives me crazy, woman.”

Ryker growled softly, the sound wildly arousing. He wrapped an arm around Keily’s waist to prevent her from drifting away and dipped his head to swipe his tongue across one nipple, teasing it into a rigid peak before he moved to its twin, licking and nipping.
